So long and thanks for all the fish!

Woah. What an amazing first season.

Practically undefeated all season, we lost to the previous champions, the Slice Girls, in an incredible back and forth battle. However, we handedly defeated them at the karaoke after party

Sadly, next seasons Berzerkhers may not resemble this seasons team. We have gone through a lot of growth over the past few seasons and to keep the teams as well matched as possible we will be reshuffling the teams for next season. Though it kills me to think I may not be a Berzerkher next season, after coming from the Los Pistolitas to build this team but I'm very proud of all of my fellow vikings and excited to see who I get to play with in the fall.

Another game, four new teammates!

Next Saturday we will be taking on the Slice Girls at the Double Header, we're playing first followed by the Black Gold Diggers and Los Pistolitas. All four teams just picked up a few draftees, but of course, ours are the best.

Please welcome Fitzkreig Bop, Mixtape, Willow Switch and Stephanie H! Any name ideas for Stephanie anyone?

The next game is a preview of the Gage Cup in May, which we have been working hard all season to take home!

This weekend the Berzerkhers battled the Black Gold Diggers in one of the greatest derby bouts in E-Ville history. After a 40 point spread after the first half, the Diggers came back hard in the second half making for one of the most intense final 5 minutes ever. The score flipped back and forth and it wasn't unti the final jam that the winner determined......but of course, in the end, the Berzerkhers won. Cuz we rule. Final score : Berzerkhers 127 - Diggers 121 Oh, and Ghetto Rose got her ass thrown out of the game with 9 minutes left cuz shes a total thug. Word.

Fundraiser w/ Northern Light Theatre & XANADUEL

We are doing a joint fundraiser with Northern Light Theatre this weekend! It's going to be a lot of fun, derby meets drama! It's this Saturday at the Kingsway Hangar, and tickets are still available for $20.

Also we will be playing the BlackGold Diggers for the first time this season! This is happening at the Hangar on March 26th and tickets are already available online at brownpapertickets.com  Check out the fucking sweet poster for this one, I'm really excited for the theme!!

Plenty of Fishnets- February 12th

Even though your favourite roller vikings will not be on the track, you should still check out the Los Pistolitas and the Slice Girls this weekend at the Hangar!
There is also a really fun halftime dating game (which you single men or ladies should sign up for!)

January sure was busy!

Wow the first month back from winter break sure flew by!

The double header on January 22nd was great! Both games were very close. We were short benched but with help from LP Hell'on Keller we managed to hand the Slice Girls their first defeat of the season. In another nail biter the Los Pistolitas beat the Black Gold Diggers.

League draft was held Monday, January 31st and we picked up two new vikings! Welcome Tamurculosis and Angeroo to the Berzerkhers! They'll make their debut in March when we destroy the Black Gold Diggers!!

Can't wait until then to see some vikings in action? Tron, Ghetto, Chasey and Lady Sadista will be playing with the E-Ville Dead vs. World this Saturday (February 5th) at the Kingsway Hangar. You can get your tickets online HERE.

New Years Resolutions

<- This is pretty much how I've been feeling during our mini off season! (Maybe too much partying not enough roller skating?)

We are back to practices next week and we are going to be very busy in 2011. Our game has been moved to January 22nd in order to have it at the Kingsway Hangar! This is a double header (we'll be playing current champs, the Slice Girls)

We are also hosting an "open roster" gave for our travel team (February 5th at the hangar), we've invited all the leagues in the area to send us a few of their best girls to comprise a team to play the E-Ville Dead in preparation for our game vs. Terminal City Rollergirls (Vancouver) in mid February.

No Berzekhers game in February (Slice Girls vs Los Pistolitas on February 12th though!) but we'll be back in March to play the Black Gold Diggers!
