Here's some fabulous pic from the season opener from this past weekend. And altho the Berzerkhers didn't win, we were clearly the most awesome team.

Pretty good start to the season!

The picture Ghetto posted below was taken shortly after we beat the Black Gold Diggers in an exhibition game on Thursday. We were pretty excited to get a win under our belts before the season officially began. On Saturday we lost to the last years champs, the Slice Girls in a nail bitting 30 minute bout. We remain confident that had we a second half, we could have gotten them! (Rematch, for all the marbles, will be December 4th) Right after we played the Los Pistolitas and the Black Gold Diggers squared off in another exciting match. They went into the last jam with the LP's down by a single point and in the end the LP's took it by a very narrow margin of 3 points. If you weren't there on Saturday you missed two well-played mini games, and you should feel pretty bummed about it because I doubt you did something for exciting in Edmonton that night.
We don't play until December but you will have an opportunity to see some of us play with the E-Ville Dead against Regina's Pile of Bone Derby Club on October 23rd.

New Team! New Look!

So I was rockin' the Chola look for 2 seasons playing with the 2nd greatest houseteam in E-Ville, the Los Pistolitas. Dark hair and even darker pencil thin eyebrows. Fake prison tats and bright red lipstick. Bandanas and gang signs, totally workin it street style. I loved my Pistolitas and I will always be a little bit Chola


But its time for a new era for Ghetto....

I am now a proud Berzerkher and I need to come up with a new look is equal parts viking and ghetto fabulous. I have less than a week to perfect the look, and so this is just a work in progress but its starting to come together. I suspect I will be going through a LOT of silver eyeshadow this season.


Lets see if blondes do have more fun...kicking your ass.

NEW UNIFORM DAY!!!

YIPEEE!!! We got our new team uniforms and Im feeling totally BERZERK!!!! These uniforms rock it so hard that I can hardly stand it! We will all be wearing the same jerserys which are the most incredible shade of blue trimmed in grey/silver. I opted for the booty shorts and the skirt for my bottoms and right now I cannot possibly decide betweeen them for game day. Its like Sophies Choice; I just love them both so much! Maybe I will wear the skirt for the first half of the game and the booty shorts in the second..... aaaahhhh Im so excited !!!!

So here is just a sneak peak of the new Berzerkher jersey. Or rather MY new Berzerkher jersey. If you wanna see the whole thing, well, then get your ass to our game on September 25 for the Season kickoff. Big unveiling as all the Berzerkhers will shine in the brand new uniforms. Now I just need to get fur boot covers for my skates, oh and a viking helmet, maybe dye my hair blonde..... I ♥ Berzerkers

Woo!

After a long summer off, the E-Ville girls are back on their skates starting with a refresher bootcamp this Saturday! We are looking forward to skating together as a team for the first time. Between you and me *leans in close*  we have a lot of solid players and if the chemistry is right I think (am certain) we will dominate this year! With not a weak spot in our roster, and tons of experience between the 10 of us we are starting the season in a really strong position. If you need to see it to believe it, make sure you grab tickets to our season opener on September 25th! Also check our Facebook page or  website for info regarding season passes. They are good for 9 games (including E-Ville Dead games) and come with a few drink tickets and a merch coupon (so you can get a Berzerkher's t-shirt on the cheap).
